Health:Pitch is a pioneering creative health initiative in the UK that specialises in designing novel, informative opera-centric programmes facilitated by clinically-trained leads that bring together a diverse stakeholder group where public, charitable and private organisations collaborate alongside the community to address together the adverse, hidden health outcomes such as loneliness, social isolation and moral injury.
We aim to, in collaboration with PHA, to explore and develop a concept and ultimately a replicable PHA model in how the core PH principles can be practically and tangibly applied, and embedded from the bottom up in a project, using our Italian foundation and programme to be headquartered near Turin, Piedmont, Italy. Our aim being to establish an environment conducive to inspiring collaborative, transdisciplinary and kind engagement and solutions to address the global crisis of moral injury in healthcare workers.

Institut Català de la Salut (ICS) is the largest public healthcare services provider in Catalonia (Spain), attending 6,000,000 people, in 8 hospitals and about 1,000 primary care centres and rural medical offices, with a staff of more than 55,000 employees.
As a main actor in the Catalan Health System, the ICS has taken the lead in environmental sustainability issues. In that line of work, in 2024 the executive board approved a brave and advanced environmental policy in which is stated that the ICS aims to improve people’s health and quality of life, with the commitment to act in an environmentally sustainable way to mitigate the effects of climate change in accordance with the principles of planetary health.
Regarding this leadership, one of the actions included in the organisation new strategic plan is to adhere to the most relevant international initiatives in health and sustainability such as the Planetary Health Alliance. The ICS commits to collaborate with the Planetary Health Alliance and its members searching for networking opportunities to share the organisation experiences and getting to know success cases, best practices, ideas and inspiration from organisations worldwide.

Generasi Edukasi Nanggroe Aceh (GEN-A) advances Planetary Health by empowering communities through accessible, evidence-based health education that emphasizes the interdependence between human health and environmental conditions. As a youth-led organization, we leverage community engagement, digital innovation, and capacity-building initiatives to foster preventive behaviors and strengthen health literacy at the grassroots level. GEN-A is committed to collaborating with the Planetary Health Alliance by contributing community-driven perspectives, co-developing impactful education and outreach strategies, and actively engaging in global knowledge exchange. Through this collaboration, we aim to expand the reach of Planetary Health initiatives and collectively drive meaningful, sustainable change across diverse communities.

Minhaj University Lahore (MUL) is committed to advancing planetary health through its interdisciplinary educational programs, research initiatives, and community engagement. The university integrates sustainable practices, climate change solutions, and public health into its core activities, ensuring that students are equipped with the knowledge and tools necessary to address the global challenges of environmental degradation and public health crises.
Through its SDGs Hub, Centre of Research and Innovation in Maritime Affairs (CRIMA), Centre for Economic Planning and Development (CEPD), and degree programs such as BS in Environmental Sciences, Botany, Zoology, Nutrition & Dietetics, and Food Technology, MUL works towards achieving the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly SDG 13 (Climate Action), SDG 3 (Good Health and Well-being), and SDG 6 (Clean Water and Sanitation). These programs equip students with the knowledge to understand the complex interconnections between human health and the environment, particularly through the study of biodiversity, food security, climate change, and sustainable health systems.
MUL has also developed green campus initiatives, such as technological solutions for sustainability and tree plantation campaigns, that aim to reduce its environmental footprint while promoting sustainable living. Minhaj University Lahore hosted a comprehensive series of progressive and dynamic activities, events, and conferences under its Climate Change initiative, thoughtfully examining the multifaceted impacts of climate change on human health while advancing sustainable, research-driven, and innovative strategies to safeguard planetary health.
MUL aims to collaborate with PHA members to:
• Enhance planetary health research by participating in global research projects that focus on climate adaptation, sustainable water management, food security, and public health.
• Share knowledge and best practices for sustainable urban planning, marine sustainability, sustainable food systems, and health promotion through departments like Botany, Zoology, Nutrition & Dietetics, and Food Technology.
• Advocate for global solutions to the health impacts of environmental degradation and climate change, while working on policy development to create a healthier planet.
By joining the Planetary Health Alliance, MUL seeks to strengthen its role as a leader in planetary health research and sustainability education, contributing to global efforts that address the interconnected challenges of environmental health and sustainable development. MUL’s active participation in PHA initiatives will further expand its commitment to creating a more sustainable and healthier world for future generations.
In partnership with PHA, MUL’s Centre for Environmental Change will become a critical player in global planetary health efforts, focusing on climate change, pollution, biodiversity loss, and sustainable policies that promote human health and environmental protection.

Basic Foundation is a national not-for-profit organization based in New Delhi, India, committed to integrating Planetary Health principles into its work by addressing environmental determinants of health, particularly the severe impact of air pollution on respiratory and non-communicable diseases. Through community awareness, early screening, patient support, and advocacy initiatives, the organization works to improve health outcomes while promoting cleaner and healthier environments in one of the world’s most polluted urban settings.

As a member of the Planetary Health Alliance, Basic Foundation seeks to collaborate closely with the global Planetary Health community to address urgent air quality and climate-related health challenges. The organization aims to exchange knowledge, adopt best practices, and contribute its on-ground experience to advance equitable, sustainable, and community-driven health solutions.

The Healthy Region research group at HZ University of Applied Sciences integrates Planetary Health as a cross-cutting perspective within practice-based research on health, environment, and societal systems in a rural delta region. In collaboration with regional partners, including the Delta Climate Center, we contribute to embedding health within climate and sustainability agendas and translating this into policy and practice. We aim to collaborate with the Planetary Health community through the exchange of knowledge, methods, and comparative insights, particularly in relation to delta and coastal contexts. In doing so, we seek to strengthen interdisciplinary research, support implementation, and contribute to the integration of Planetary Health into education and professional training.

Triad Institute for Health Research and Development (TIHRAD) integrates Planetary Health principles into its work through an approach that recognizes the interconnectedness of human, animal, and environmental systems in addressing challenges such as antimicrobial resistance, zoonotic diseases, and climate-sensitive health risks. Through community-engaged research, capacity building, and policy-oriented activities, TIHRAD generates locally grounded evidence and translates it into practical interventions and actionable insights. As a member of the Planetary Health Alliance, TIHRAD seeks to collaborate with global partners to co-develop interdisciplinary research, share context-specific knowledge from Africa, and strengthen capacity for Planetary Health practice. We are committed to contributing to a more inclusive and globally representative Planetary Health community while advancing systems-based solutions to complex health challenges.

Eco Circular India Foundation integrates Planetary Health principles through community-driven initiatives in afforestation, water conservation, sustainable agriculture, sanitation, and model village development, recognizing the interdependence of ecosystem health and human well-being. Our work focuses on building climate-resilient communities while improving livelihoods, public health, and environmental outcomes.

We aim to collaborate with the Planetary Health Alliance community by sharing scalable, field-tested models from India and engaging in knowledge exchange and interdisciplinary partnerships. Through this collaboration, we seek to co-develop solutions that bridge local action with global impact and advance the Planetary Health agenda.

Cohab – cooperation on health and biodiversity – was founded on the principle of partnership. Our mission and strategic plan are focused on enhancing collaboration for planetary health in science, policy and practice. We work to facilitate and enhance international, inter-disciplinary, inter-agency and cross-community partnerships, promoting sustainable development through the conservation and sustainable use of biodiversity and the enhancement of human health and well-being. We exist to support related activities and organizations, and will continue to pursue our mission in partnership with the Planetary Health community – acting together for people and planet.

The wellbeing of the planet and humanity is the most significant challenge in the world today. HPF wishes to collaborate with PHA to in addressing this major determinant of our collective wellbeing.

The Flourish Project advances an integrated approach to human and planetary wellbeing through its Eco-Systemic Flourishing (ESF) Framework, which brings together human development, cultural values, ecological integrity, and regenerative economics. Our work incorporates Planetary Health by embedding the natural environment as a core dimension of wellbeing, particularly through education, research, and systems-level frameworks. We seek to collaborate with the Planetary Health Alliance to further develop and apply integrative approaches that connect disciplines, sectors, and communities. Through shared learning, research partnerships, and co-creation of practical tools, we aim to support the transition toward regenerative systems that enable both people and the planet to flourish.
