Planetary health looks at how global environmental change affects our health. We're faced with climate change, biodiversity loss, pollution, deforestation, changing food systems, water scarcity, and more. And we're seeing grave consequences "“ new epidemics of disease, extreme weather events, declining nutrition, threatened mental health, and populations being displaced because their homes are no longer habitable. In the lead-up to the second Planetary Health Annual Meeting taking place from May 29-June 1 in Edinburgh, Scotland, the Planetary Health Alliance invites individuals to submit up to 2 photos of their original work to the Planetary Health Photography Contest. Winning submissions will be shared at the Planetary Health Annual Meeting and the top photograph will be published on the cover of The Lancet Planetary Health's Conference Booklet.
Help us spread awareness about these critical issues by illustrating how planetary health impacts or inspires you. Share your efforts in research, policy, education, or any other facet of change-making.
