I am currently pursuing a Ph.D. in statistics at the University of Science and Technology in China. I hold a master's degree in machine learning and AI from the African Institute for Mathematical Sciences in Senegal, as well as another master's degree in Mathematical Sciences from the African Institute for Mathematical Sciences in Rwanda. I have first-class honors Bachelor's degree in statistics from South Eastern Kenya University. Passionate about research, my expertise lies in machine learning, deep learning, statistical modeling applied to healthcare, and functional data analysis. Fueled by a profound interest in the intersection of data science and global well-being, I am particularly drawn to the field of Planetary Health. My goal is to apply their statistical and machine learning skills to address critical challenges in healthcare within the broader context of environmental sustainability, emphasizing the interconnectedness of human health and the health of our planet.
