Katie is a third year undergraduate student at the University of Richmond, studying Biochemistry and Health Studies. She has always had an interest in climate change and sustainability efforts, and after completing a health studies research project, her passion for Planetary Health has grown significantly. Katie aspires to attend medical school where she hopes to continue initiatives toward achieving Planetary Health. Additionally, Katie is passionate about her work in the diabetes community, driven by her personal connection to the cause and goal of pursuing a career in endocrinology.
