After completing her undergraduate degree in Environment and Sustainability with a concentration in Applied Chemistry and minor in Near Eastern Studies, Lauren continues pursuing Planetary and One Health through coursework, mentors, and most of all, experience. Lauren served as a combat medic in Israel, worked in New York assisting doctors and veterinarians, and served global communities following natural and anthropogenic disasters. Lauren’s professional interests include applying planetary health lens in disaster response, infectious disease, and conservation advocacy.
