Louis Wauters is one of the education interns at the Planetary Health Alliance. He is a medical student at the University of Ghent (UGent), Belgium, currently in his last year.
During his clinical rotations he experienced the vast impact preventive measures could have in healthcare. This lead him to develop his interests in health, policy and ethics. Moving forward he wants to focus on how an ethical worldview can create sustainable ecosystems wherein all life can co-exist and physical and mental health can thrive.
In his spare time he enjoys reading, spending time with friends and hiking.
