Louisa Bauer obtained her bachelor’s degree in Health Science from the Technical University of Munich, Germany. Subsequently in 2023 she started her Master’s degree in Environment, climate change and health at the University of Bayreuth, also in Germany. After learning about the interconnectivity of climate change and health, as well as the intersection of animal, environmental and human health during her bachelor studies, she was excited to deepen her knowledge in this field with the Master’s program offered in Bayreuth and to gain the ability to bring change and sustainability into the health care sector. She learned about the Planetary Health Alliance at the University of Bayreuth and after hearing talks of multiple Planetary Health Campus Ambassadors she decided to get active in working towards a sustainable, livable and healthy future.
