Kelly Baldwin Heid is an Expert on the Biodiversity and Nature-based Solutions team at ICLEI Europe. She holds a MSc. in Global Urban Health and is currently working on a PhD focused on urban biodiversity and human health at the University of Freiburg. She is a transdisciplinary, social and natural science researcher with a focus on the connections and co-benefits of nature-based solutions, public health, and urban biodiversity. Kelly is involved in many Horizon EU projects and works directly with cities around the world to reach their sustainability goals. Before joining ICLEI, her most recent research project was a collaboration with urban planners and psychologists to understand how the co-creation of green space affected adolescent mental health.
