The Climate Action Accelerator is committed to advancing planetary health by integrating climate resilience and sustainability into healthcare systems. We collaborate with global partners to develop low-emission, adaptive solutions that address the health risks posed by climate change and other planetary boundaries. Through initiatives like the Future of Hospitals and Health Systems and local partnerships in Africa and South Asia, we co-create context-specific roadmaps and promote knowledge exchange to drive scalable, practical solutions. By joining the Planetary Health Alliance, we aim to strengthen transdisciplinary actions and operations that safeguards human health and the natural systems upon which it depends.

The SingHealth Duke-NUS Global Health Institute (SDGH) is committed to advancing planetary health through education, research, policy advocacy, and innovation across Asia and beyond. The SDGHI Planetary Health Initiative will tackle the interlinked crises of climate change, environmental pollution, and biodiversity loss by building resilient health systems and catalysing cross-sectoral action. As a member of the Planetary Health Alliance, we aim to contribute regional and global leadership, co-create lasting solutions, and champion an integrated, equity-driven approach to protecting the health of people and the planet.

Norwegian Doctors for Planetary Health (Legenes klimaaksjon) is a network of engaged health care workers and students who believe a good environment is the ultimate key to good health. Our purpose is to inform about the health consequences of global warming and destruction of nature and biodiversity, and work to limit these through political, economic and structural measures. We do so by cooperating with other environmental groups and activists, engage in political processes and raising awareness among our peers and the public as whole. Our vision is a healthier and more just world.

Zero Water Day Partnership is a NGO registered in Germany and works with national, European and international partners to promote action in the 5 areas of critical importance for humanity and the planet. ZWDP areas of work cover will feed into PHA networks and activities, including policy and advocacy with a focus on planetary and human health in all polices and youth engagement, a whole schools – whole community approach for environmental and social determinants of health education, and action by creating water walks in support of the ZWDP Saving the World’s Water Towers campaign.

Youth in Public Health is a youth-led organization committed to advancing planetary health through education, innovation, and community empowerment in Indonesia. We integrate the principles of planetary health into our programs: Zero Stunting, GROW, Healthy Teens, and Research Group by addressing the intersections of human health, nutrition, and sustainable planetary health. Through our membership in the Planetary Health Alliance, we aim to collaborate with global partners to strengthen youth engagement, share research, and co-develop scalable solutions for healthier people and a healthier planet.

In response to strike a balance between human developmental needs and the limits imposed by the planet, Peking University Institute for Global Health and Development (GHD) launched the project “Planetary Health Axis System” (PHAS). The PHAS initiative builds a multi-theory and multi-layer structured digital system, enabling for the first time a fully global, real-time dynamic, and visually interactive system to map the human development footprints against the limits of the generalized Planetary Boundaries. PHAS is designed as a big data based, AI-supported, dynamic, highly interactive, and interconnected global public platform, drawing on publicly accessible data sources with full transparency to all users. PHAS aims to inspire and establish a Global Borderless Team for its further development and management through the network of PHAS international and regional hubs. We look forward to contributing to and learning from the Alliance community as we work toward a healthier planet for current and future generations.

Awdal Youth Volunteers is committed to advancing planetary health through our youth-led climate justice initiatives, community-based resilience programs, and climate advocacy education. By integrating the principles of planetary health into our projects, we empower young people to address the intersection of climate change, health, and environmental justice in their communities. Through collaboration with the Planetary Health Alliance, we aim to enhance our capacity for impactful climate action, share best practices, and mobilize resources to scale up our efforts in building climate resilience. We look forward to leveraging the collective expertise of the Planetary Health community to foster a healthier, more sustainable future for our communities and beyond.

AUT incorporates Planetary Health into its work through the strategic statement: “We improve the health and wellbeing of people and planet, creating impact through applied and transformational education and research.” At AUT, Planetary Health is threaded through learning, teaching, research, partnerships, and how we operate our on-campus facilities. This commitment to planetary health: improving the health and wellbeing of people and planet will extend to AUT’s collaborations with the Planetary Health community both across the Oceania region and globally. We seek mutually beneficial exchange of energy and expertise for Planetary Health where people and planet flourish locally, regionally and globally.

The Unit of Hygiene at the University of Pavia integrates Planetary Health concepts into its specialized training of MD residents, PhD students, and researchers, emphasising the interconnections among human, animal, and environmental well-being. We coordinate a national PhD programme in One Health approaches to infectious diseases and life science research, conduct collaborative research projects, and develop educational initiatives such as summer schools to foster interdisciplinary expertise. By working closely with the Planetary Health Alliance community, we strive to expand our global reach, share resources, and develop innovative solutions to pressing health challenges. We are committed to strengthening evidence-based strategies that inform policy and practice, ensuring a healthier future for our planet and its populations.

We want to collaborate with Planetary Health principles to enhance our educational and professional development programs. This includes hosting workshops, webinars, seminars, hands on training and community forums that focus on the interconnectedness of human and environmental health, climate resilience, and sustainable development. By engaging students, professionals, and local leaders, we aim to foster a new generation of Planetary Health advocates equipped with interdisciplinary knowledge and practical tools.

Family physicians consider it one of their core tasks to maintain and improve their patients’ health in a comprehensive sense, which includes Planetary Health and the sustainability of our planet. Family physicians, having access to most of the population, can increase our population’s awareness of problems which threaten both individual health and the planet, promote behaviour changes, and empower individuals to live a healthier and more sustainable lifestyle. HKCFP is committed to advancing and sharing knowledge of the fundamental scientific and social processes that sustain our lives and our planet.

Our organization, the Centro de Comunicación de las Ciencias at Universidad Autónoma de Chile, is committed to advancing Planetary Health through accessible science communication, education, and community engagement. We integrate Planetary Health into our work by conducting research, publishing materials, and organizing events that address the interconnectedness of human health, ecosystems, and climate change. As part of the UNESCO Chair on Scientific Education for Citizenship, we strive to foster public understanding of Planetary Health through education initiatives aimed at diverse audiences. By joining the Planetary Health Alliance, we aim to collaborate with global and regional experts, share knowledge, and contribute to advancing Planetary Health in Latin America. We look forward to engaging with the Alliance’s network to exchange ideas, enhance our initiatives, and strengthen our collective impact on creating a healthier planet.
