Deborah Makonyola served as a Planetary Health Campus Ambassador in 2024 and worked exceptionally well on a year-long campaign assignment. She is a nature lover and passionate Environmentalist. She is pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Forestry and Environmental Management at Mzuzu University (Malawi).
She has and enjoys volunteering in activities of the environment such as tree planting, clean-up, sensitization and raising awareness. She aspires to engage more students and the local community in activities related to Planetary Health activities through involvement and collaboration with the national, regional and global community. She is working towards empowering a greener generation and planet.
