Communications Associate at Planetary Health Alliance

​​The Planetary Health Alliance (PHA) is the backbone organization for the global field of Planetary Health—a rapidly growing discipline and social movement focused on understanding and addressing the human health impacts of environmental disruption. Working closely with PHA staff and partners, the Communications Associate will develop creative content, curate resources, and tell the Planetary Health story to global audiences. This role sits within a fast-paced, transdisciplinary team spanning geographies and sectors and also works closely with the communications team at the affiliated Johns Hopkins Institute for Planetary Health. The role reports to the Senior Communications Manager at PHA.​

Communications Associate at Johns Hopkins Institute for Planetary Health

The Institute for Planetary Health (JHIPH) is connecting JHU’s vibrant community of faculty, staff, and students to work together in accelerating discovery and activating solutions to safeguard health on a rapidly changing planet. Working closely with JHIPH staff and faculty, the Communications Associate will develop creative content, curate resources, and tell Johns Hopkins’ unique Planetary Health stories across campuses and around the world. This role sits within a fast-paced team spanning academic divisions, while working closely with the communications team at the affiliated Planetary Health Alliance—the backbone organization for the global field of Planetary Health. The role reports to the Institute for Planetary Health’s Communications Officer.​
