Through systematic educational integration, strategic policy partnerships, and community mobilization, we’re building a future in which life on Earth advances together. The organizations in our network are agents of transformation within their communities, disciplines, and regions. Their adoption of Planetary Health principles creates ripple effects extending far beyond our direct reach.

Our 10th Anniversary campaign is stimulating reflection on achievements while focusing energy on the challenges ahead. All of the dimensions of health demand awareness and action, research and implementation, individual behavior change and systems transformation. We are an alliance that is ready to continue building community, advancing excellence, influencing policy, and innovating in communications – across every sector of society – to safeguard human health on a rapidly changing planet.

Global Health Policy Integration

Pandemic Agreement Adoption: The May 2025 adoption of the global Pandemic Agreement includes One Health language in Article 5, creating opportunities for enhanced cooperation between One Health and Planetary Health communities. Planetary Health emphasizes collaboration rather than competition between frameworks, recognizing complementary actions to addressing Earth system challenges.

Strategic Public Health Partnerships

Public Health Communications Collaborative (PHCC): Partnership to develop “Planetary Health is Public Health” toolkit—a useful communication resource for public health professionals to effectively discuss Planetary Health concepts with broader audiences. This collaboration leverages PHCC’s credibility and established networks for maximum reach.

American Public Health Association (APHA): Planetary Health will be featured in a session at the upcoming APHA Annual Meeting for the second consecutive year, creating a platform for reaching the broader public health community in the United States.

World Federation of Public Health Associations (WFPHA): Joint programming for Public Health Week and educational resource sharing. A September 2025 webinar is planned to clarify terminology and demonstrate collaboration between One Health and Planetary Health frameworks.
