Sara Muammer

​Sara is a pharmacist from Baghdad, Iraq and the founder of Eco Iraq, an initiative dedicated to environmental advocacy and sustainability within her community. Her passion for Planetary Health is rooted in the critical intersection of clinical practice and ecological health, focusing on how environmental stability is essential for human well-being. As a Planetary Health Campus Ambassador, Sara aims to leverage her medical background and leadership with Eco Iraq to mobilize health professionals toward environmental stewardship. She is committed to fostering interdisciplinary solutions that protect both the health of the Iraqi people and their natural environment.
