Sara Ahmad

Sara Ahmad is a physiotherapist with training and experience across clinical rehabilitation and humanitarian health. Her interests lie at the intersection of Planetary Health and disability, particularly how climate-related events such as floods, displacement, and environmental degradation disproportionately affect persons with disabilities and those with functional limitations. She is interested in how environmental stressors disrupt the continuity of care, access to rehabilitation, and social participation in crisis-affected settings. Through her work, she seeks to advance disability-inclusive, rehabilitation-informed approaches within planetary and population health frameworks.
