Danylo Duran Silva Santos

Danylo is a biomedical scientist from the Brazilian Amazon and a graduate student in Pharmaceutical Sciences at the Federal University of Pará (UFPA), also pursuing a second bachelor’s degree in Biotechnology. His recharch focuses on pharmacology and the chemistry of natural products from the Amazon region, integrating the connections between human health, biodiversity, environmental sustainability, and nature-based solutions in Amazonian contexts. In 2025, he participated as a Planetary Health Ambassador through the PESP Program by the Brazilian Network in Planetary Health of the University of São Paulo (SPBr-IEA/USP) and has been involved in several educational and community-based projects at the university. Danylo is passionate about Planetary Health as a pathway to connect science, community engagement, and environmental justice in the promotion of sustainable and equitable health solutions.
