Oluwaseun Adebayo Adewunmi is a medical doctor and public health researcher with experience in health systems strengthening, mental health, emergency preparedness, health technology and planetary health. They have collaborated with various organizations across Africa and Asia to enhance healthcare delivery and innovation.
Oluwaseun holds an MBBS from the University of Lagos, Nigeria an MPH from Tokyo Medical and Dental University, Tokyo, Japan (now Institute of Science, Tokyo), and are currently pursuing a DrPH at Nagasaki University, Nagasaki, Japan
Their vision for the Planetary Health West Africa Regional Hub is to advance planetary health in West Africa by promoting research, capacity-building, and inclusive collaborations that address environmental and health inequities. They aim to leverage my experience in health systems and community engagement to support actionable solutions that protect both people and the planet from a decolonial lens.
