Charles Nwaeze is a Nigerian medical student, climate-health advocate, and youth development leader committed to advancing sustainable development through education, public health, and climate action. He is a student of Medicine and Surgery at the University of Jos, where he combines rigorous academic training with impactful community service, policy engagement, and youth-led innovation.Charles has held several influential leadership and advocacy roles at national and global levels. He is the immediate past Director of SDGs of the Nigerian Medical Students’ Association (NiMSA) and a UNICEF Nigeria Youth Advocate (YPAT), TheirWorld Ambassador, Climate Cardinals member, and a founding member of the Youth Climate Council of Nigeria. In recognition of his growing influence in climate research and policy, Charles was recently appointed as a Member of the Committee on Africa Youth Climate Research at UNESCO, where he contributes to strengthening youth-led research, evidence-based advocacy, and indigenous knowledge systems across the African continent.
