Aiko, a nutritionist pursuing a Master's in Global Public Health at Griffith University, specializes in maternal and child nutrition with a cultural focus. Her diverse background includes studies in Swahili and African studies during her bachelor's, followed by roles at an IT firm and a refugee support NGO in Japan. When the pandemic struck, she shifted her career path to directly aid those in need by becoming a nutritionist. Additionally, she's part of the Climate Coach Alliance, organizing events to raise awareness of climate change among fellow coaches. Outside work, she enjoys cooking, practicing yoga and meditation, and engaging in activities like stand-up paddle and hiking.
