December 2025

A regenerative future is one where all living and functioning systems, processes, entities, and beings thrive and flourish together, inherently reaching their full potential in collaboration with all other systems, processes, and entities in what is recognized as an interconnected world.
Dr. David Webb

Today marks a major milestone for our community: 10 years of the Planetary Health Alliance. As we close 2025, we’re reflecting on a decade of collective action, community leadership, and global momentum toward a world where people and planet can thrive.

This year, the PHA network came together in powerful ways—from the Planetary Health Annual Meeting 2025 and the inaugural Planetary Health Youth Challenge to a comprehensive Annual Reviews article and a landmark commentary bridging the Planetary Health and Planetary Boundaries communities. We welcomed our 550th member organization, spotlighted 14 stories of resilience and innovation across our network, and hosted seven Planetary Health Roadmap Working Groups collaborating to advance healthier ecosystems for all.

To every member of the Planetary Health community: thank you. Your leadership, creativity, and commitment are shaping what the next 10 years, and the future of our planet, will look like.

The PHA team will be offline for the next couple of weeks. For those celebrating, we wish you rest, connection, and a joyful season.
