Eliana Liporace, an undergraduate freshman at Emory University majoring in Neuroscience and Behavioral Biology, brings a dedicated passion for environmental science intersecting with public health to the realm of planetary health. Fueled by a profound passion for environmental science, Eliana actively contributes as a student intern for Emory's Green Labs Department at the Office of Sustainability Initiatives. Additionally, she serves as a student research assistant for Dr. Yang Liu, delving into the profound connections between environmental health and public welfare. She envisions a future where proactive measures in planetary health safeguard both human well-being and Earth's natural systems, catalyzing change through her commitment to sustainability initiatives, community outreach, and impactful scientific endeavors. As a 2024 Planetary Health Campus Ambassador with Johns Hopkins University, Eliana is poised to continue her advocacy for a sustainable future by catalyzing change at the intersection of planetary health, neuroscience, and public engagement.
