Global Nature of Planetary Health

The Planetary Health Education Action Group collected stories from people around the world. The goal was to showcase diverse perspectives on the global environmental crises, highlight our shared interconnectedness, and demonstrate the global nature of Planetary Health. While these challenges affected us all, we also recognized that some communities experienced disproportionately greater impacts.

Through the following videos, we aimed to capture voices and stories that illustrated different dimensions of Planetary Health—whether it was a personal experience with an environmental event, the moment of awakening to these issues, or an action taken to be part of the solution. Together, these contributions formed a mosaic of experiences and actions that inspire awareness, dialogue, and collective action.

These stories also serve as powerful tools for educators in the classroom, helping students connect real-world experiences to Planetary Health concepts in a vivid and engaging way.
