Iffa Zahid
2023 PHCAIffa is an undergraduate student doing her bachelor in Public Health from National University of Medical Sciences, Department of Public Health. Being a public health student, she knows how the environment one lives in has a very important role in maintaining well-being of an individual as health includes all the physical, social and psychological aspects and not merely the absence of disease or infirmity. For this, she volunteers and actively takes part in educating people and raising her voice about all these aspects through various seminars, awareness campaigns and events within the university campus and in other institutes as well.
Iffa is also an Event Director of Firefly X NUMS Society which is working for awareness about mental health in Pakistan. Her research interests include environmental health, biodiversity, climate change, environmental toxicology, maternal and child health and reproductive health. Her hobbies include reading books, horse riding, hiking and baking. After completing her bachelors degree, she aims to get her Master's degrees in epidemiology and global health.
