Joseph Akite
2023 PHCAJoseph Akite is a student pursuing Bachelor of Information Science, Information Technology at Moi University in Kenya. He is a Planetary Health enthusiast, passionate about solving mental health distress. He likes using creative abilities, including dancing skills as a tool for solving mental health issues and to help individuals in his community fight against non-communicable diseases. He has participated in the 2022 Planetary Health lecture series and workshops for Planetary Health Eastern Africa Hub. As a Planetary Health Campus Ambassador 2023, Joseph aspires to engage more of his student and local community in Planetary Health activities and collaborating with the national, regional and global Planetary Health community.
