Within the framework of cooperation, the Association for Common Good and Public Trust would like to:
Participate in the operation of PHA: to help preserve human health and living conditions throughout our planet.

The Association of Science and Technology Centers (ASTC) is a non-profit membership association based in North America that has supported the global science engagement field since 1973. One strategic initiative is Seeding Action, which supports and catalyzes science centers, museums, and other public engagement networks to cultivate a culture of hope and action for planetary health. To achieve this, we support relationships between professionals and organizations working to engage their communities on planetary health topics; undertake efforts to build capacity for increased planetary health public engagement; and conduct research on public mindsets about planetary health action and promising approaches to sparking more widespread participation in solutions. We are eager to collaborate on content co-creation that could be shared with science centers and museums, training and other capacity-building efforts to help professionals effectively engage their communities in solutions, and research to understand public mindsets and effective communication and engagement approaches.

AIACC is a association that reasearch topics about mental health related to climate change (e.g eco-anxiety, eco-paralysis…). Spreading informations about emotions and mental issues on climate change can raise awarness on people who are suffering, drive people acting against those emotional diseases and increasing pro-environmental behaviours. Also, in case of clinical psychological suffering, we aim to produce evidence based standard of good pratice.

The Bangladesh Occupational Safety, Health, and Environment Foundation (OSHE Foundation) is committed to advancing Planetary Health by integrating environmental sustainability and occupational health into its programs. We focus on promoting safe, healthy, and sustainable workplaces, advocating for policies that address both environmental and worker health, and raising awareness of the impact of climate change on vulnerable communities. Through our collaboration with the Planetary Health Alliance (PHA), we aim to exchange knowledge, contribute to global research, and advocate for integrated solutions that protect both people and the planet. By working together, we aspire to strengthen global efforts towards achieving a healthier, more sustainable future for all.

The Barcelona Institute for Global Health (ISGlobal) contributes to Planetary Health through its activities in research and translation of knowledge regarding the influence of the environment on communicable and non-communicable disease. ISGlobal aims to train and mobilize future leaders in the application of systems thinking and transdisciplinary approaches to improve health and health equity.

The Bay Area Global Health Alliance incorporates Planetary Health in our work through our interdisciplinary / intersectoral activities which take the form of convenings, connections, and communications. We facilitate convenings featuring topics and speakers related to Planetary Health, connect organizations and individuals that want to collaborate in this space, and promote our members and partners’ work to advance Planetary Health. We collaborate with the Planetary Health community by introducing our diverse, multisectoral network to opportunities and knowledge shared by leaders such as the PHA, and taking an active role in organizing educational, advocacy, and research initiatives to promote components of Planetary Health such as climate health, sustainable development, and health equity.

The BC Cancer Planetary Health Unit is a clinician-led initiative which aims to promote low waste, low carbon health care solutions across all disciplines in both outpatient and inpatient settings. We aim to educate health care providers about the ecologic impact of the health care sector and the dependence of population health on planetary health. We hope to inspire and engage clinicians in transitioning to sustainable professional practices, particularly in areas of waste, food systems, and transportation.

The climate and health nexus has gained track in global health. In parallel to the integration of climate and health into global health policies, research is growing with educational offers to a climate-aware health workforce. If the emergent field of Planetary Health is moving fast, the Be-Cause health working group on Planetary health is too. Together we can better advocate, share more resources and information, and engage in research, education, and programmes.

Ben-Gurion University of the Negev is one of Israel’s leading research universities and among the world leaders in many fields. Ben-Gurion University promotes research in the field of green energy, alternative and renewable energy, including renewable fuels, solar energy and more. It is also developing curricula for a wide range of undergraduate and graduate degrees in the fields of energy.

We are committed to collaborating to solve the wicked problems that the planet is currently facing. Our focus is to understand how we can take a systems-perspective to create meaningful change. We cannot do this alone and work with both industry and academia to drive this message.

Bioversity International’s vision is a world where agrobiodiversity nourishes people and sustains the planet, so Planetary Health is at the core of our research. We welcome the engagement of the medical community into the discussions and research on the impact of the food and agricultural system on people and the planet’s health, as the medical profession can speak to a different community and bring more decision makers to understand the need to transform our food and agricultural system.

Blue Mountains City Council’s Planetary Health Initiative is commmitted to ‘walking the talk’ within Council services. It is also working collaboratively with the wider community as well as local, regional and global partners to restore Planetary Health for current and future generations. As a local government working with its First Nations communities, and demonstrating stewardship of a World Heritage Listed Area, we are also the first Council in Australia to adopt the Rights of Nature.

Blue Ventures develops transformative approaches for catalysing and sustaining locally led marine conservation. We work in places where the ocean is vital to local cultures and economies, and are committed to protecting marine biodiversity in ways that benefit coastal people.

On our interconnected planet we are all truly Born Global. As a living adaptive system we make change happen when we stick together and focalize our small actions to build up systems of global change. Our mission is to connect innovative minds around the world and to educate each other with our knowledge. We start with a deep connection to nature as mentor, method and measure to through the applied scientific methodology of Biomimicry which guides all our projects to create conditions conducive to all life.

Bow Seat Ocean Awareness Programs is the world’s largest environmental youth program for the creative arts. We work to empower youth to connect, create, and communicate for our blue planet. Bow Seat strives to build community among youth, enhance resiliency, raise awareness, and offer opportunities to take action on environmental issues through our annual Ocean Awareness Contest, Future Blue Youth Council, and Fellowship Grant Program. We are particularly focused on addressing the rising rates of grief and eco-anxiety among youth due to our rapidly changing planet. Participants in our programs have reported feeling inspired, empowered, hopeful, and empathetic. As an organization that reaches more than 33,000 youth from 140+ countries, Bow Seat invests in the next wave of environmental leaders who will think, and act, like artists – looking at issues from new perspectives, posing meaningful questions, and discovering innovative solutions. We are a Planetary Health solution, and we look forward to partnering with other youth-focused organizations in the Planetary Health Alliance.

Brainware University is eager to collaborate on joint research projects, such as conducting studies on sustainable practices in various thematic areas; coordinated efforts to enhance cybersecurity awareness and education initiatives; and collaborative workshops or seminars to foster knowledge-sharing and networking opportunities. Brainware focuses on community development initiatives (educational programs, targeted health campaigns, and supporting local enterprises) and sustainable practices implementation.

The Brazilian College for Lifestyle Medicine (CBMEV) is an ethically-driven non-profit organization led by physicians, medical professionals and other social agents to advance evidence-based lifestyle medicine as the fundamental approach to assist individuals and communities in modifying behaviors to promote physical, mental, social and spiritual well-being as well as the Planetary Health.

Brighton and Sussex Medical School (BSMS) is an equal partnership between the Universities of Sussex and Brighton together with NHS organisations throughout the South East region. The arrangements for the school’s governance reflect this approach and students are awarded joint BM BS degrees of both universities.

Our undergraduate and postgraduate programmes will offer an inspirational education experience which instils academic knowledge, independent learning skills and the soft skills sought by employers. We will attract talented students from across the globe who aspire to learn and apply their knowledge to fulfil their lives and contribute to society.

Abubuwa Societal Development Initiative (ASDI) is a non-profit organization that conducts research, train-the-trainer facilitation, community engagement, service implementation, and advocacy in collaboration with government entities and other related stakeholders. As such, ASDI, in collaboration with PHA, is committed to strengthening the presence of Planetary Health among academia, civil society, and the public and private sectors.

The National Academy of Sciences proposes a constant collaboration in incorporating the planetary health environment in our daily and permanent work. We intend to fulfill the role of guiding the Bolivian society in urgent and important issues with the deterioration and conservation of nature, but also to draw attention to the effects generated by climate change, pollution and better living conditions, among many others. But also to establish collaborative networks at national and international level in order to disseminate information to the Bolivian audience linked to global pathways.
