The American Public Health Association (APHA) champions the health of all people and all communities, strengthens the public health profession and brings together members from all fields of public health. With a long-standing commitment to climate as a health issue, APHA is working to address climate change by applying a public health and health equity lens to help shape climate policy, engagement and action to better address the needs of vulnerable populations.

Amplify health and development in Africa (AHDA) is a nongovernmental organization registered and based in Tanzania to build healthy communities through advocacy, storytelling, community action and communications for change. Our major areas of focus are Climate change and health, community engagement andhealth systems strengthening.

Anchor University Center for Global Health exists to contribute to improvement in health and health systems globally through high-quality multidisciplinary research, knowledge generation, capacity building, advocacy and engagement in evidence-based interventions. Our focus is to to pioneer and promote interdisciplinary research, study and project implementation in the area of Planetary Health in Nigeria, and contribute to the body of knowledge globally.

AHEAD (Animal & Human Health for the Environment And Development) supports real world problem-solving at the interface of wildlife health, livestock health, and human health and livelihoods — with a focus on southern Africa. We continually work to share lessons learned via our web platform, as well as our freely available AHEAD Update e-newsletter.

The Applied Environmental Research Foundation (AERF) is a non-profit based out of Pune, India. AERF’s mission is to achieve conservation on the ground by involving local communities and by forging partnerships with diverse stakeholder groups viz. private sector, educational institutions, and local governments. The main focus of AERF’s activities is to avoid deforestation and conserve biodiversity in the northern Western Ghats of India – a global biodiversity hotspot – and create sustainable value from standing forests. By collaborating with the Planetary Health Alliance, we intend to realize societies living in harmony with nature.

Art of Change 21 is a one-of-a-kind association that brings together artists, social entrepreneurs and young leaders who are deeply committed to sustainability and the environment, in order to create original, impactful solutions that address climate change and promote sustainable lifestyles.

We are dedicated to empowering youth in the health community to get involved in UN and government processes. We aim to bring the voices of young people to the forefront at all levels, from international to local. Our goal is to include the health agenda in UNFCCC meetings such as the Bonn subsidiary body conference (SB) and the climate change conference of parties (COP). In our work, we focus mainly on issues related to climate change that may have an effect on human health either directly or indirectly.
