Claire Henderson-Wilson is an Associate Professor in planetary health / socio-ecological health within the School of Health and Social Development at Deakin University. She leads the Health, Nature, Sustainability Research Group and the Health and Environmental Change theme within the Sustainable Health and Environment Network. Claire provides oversight and leadership on several research projects investigating how people-environment relationships influence health and wellbeing. Specifically, her research focuses on the relationships between people, health and the natural environment (i.e. parks and gardens) and the impacts of environmental change (i.e. climate change) on people’s health and wellbeing. She has a track record of multidisciplinary collaboration within the university sector and with industry and local governments.
