
Livia Nyakundi is a fifth year medical student at Egerton University, with a passion for addressing health challenges at the intersection of women’s health and climate change. She is actively involved in leadership and advocacy , working on issues such as mental health, sexual and reproductive health rights and antimicrobial resistance.
As part of Women Care Organizations and Kenya Climate Youth Corps, she is dedicated to advancing planetary health by empowering communities and addressing sustainable development through goal 5. Through her work she aims to foster innovative solutions that link health systems with climate resilience.
