Luciana Blanco Villafuerte

Luciana Blanco Villafuerte is an epidemiologist and PhD candidate in Epidemiology at Universidad Peruana Cayetano Heredia (Peru). Her work focuses on the health impacts of air pollution in Peru, with particular attention to vulnerable urban populations. She is part of the Centro Latinoamericano de Excelencia en Cambio Climático y Salud (CLIMA), where she works at the intersection of research, policy, and science communication. She is deeply passionate about scientific outreach and believes that translating evidence into accessible and engaging messages is key to advancing Planetary Health and climate action.
