Maria Eduarda Goulart

Maria is a third-year medical student with a longstanding interest in environmental sciences, developed during her school years and strengthened through international academic experiences, including a Canadian-accredited high school program. Throughout her medical training, she has been actively engaged in discussions and projects addressing health and environmental vulnerability. Her academic interests focus on the intersection of human health, environmental determinants, and social inequities, with a strong emphasis on global perspectives. She is particularly motivated by the principles of Planetary Health and their application to research, clinical practice, and community-based initiatives.
