Marta Pahissa

Marta Pahissa is Director of the Centre for Planetary Health Development, a joint initiative between Fundació Sanitària Mollet (FSM) and ISGlobal. She is a senior environmental health strategist with expertise in health systems transformation, sustainability, and planetary health innovation.

With over 20 years of experience, she has worked across the third sector, corporate sustainability, and healthcare innovation. During this time, she has translated science and environmental values into practical models, public engagement strategies, and policy-aligned services.

Moreover, she is recognized for her cross-sectoral leadership. She has developed initiatives that integrate ecological integrity with health promotion, including green insurance services, nature prescription platforms, and community-based environmental health programs.

She is an active member of the Planetary Health Alliance (European Hub). Consequently, her role bridges scientific research, health policy, and operational delivery, ensuring that innovations in planetary health are actionable and impactful.
