Sanam is a Master’s student in Global Health and Development at the University College London. With an academic background in Geography, she developed a strong interest in climate justice and health equity. She is passionate about strengthening community resilience to climate-related public health risks, her experience so far having centered around addressing the impacts of extreme heat. She is drawn to Planetary Health as a lens for navigating global issues with local solutions and is excited to bring this to the UCL campus. Outside of this, she can be found cooking, playing ultimate frisbee or trying out new arts and crafts.
