Impact Fellowship

The Planetary Health Alliance is seeking two individuals ready to develop interdisciplinary projects, collaborate with experts, and help advance innovative solutions for ecological balance and human well-being. During this program, Fellows will engage with the vibrant Planetary Health community. Planetary Health Campus Ambassador Program

The Planetary Health Campus Ambassador Program formally recognizes Next Generation leaders in Planetary Health on academic campuses and within the global community. The Planetary Health Alliance is seeking 50 university students worldwide to take on leadership roles on their campuses and beyond. Through the program, Ambassadors expand their network, develop leadership and organizational skills, and gain the support of their diverse cohort, PHA staff and fellows, and Alliance Members. Senior Administrative Coordinator

The Planetary Health Alliance is seeking a Sr. Administrative Coordinator to support office operations, expense management, and project coordination for leadership and program teams. The role serves as the primary contact for PHA inquiries, manages hiring and onboarding processes, coordinates with HR and IT, and supports travel arrangements and reimbursements. This position requires strong collaboration and organizational skills, with opportunities to contribute to technical projects that advance PHA’s priorities.

Program Specialist

PHA seeks a detail-oriented and motivated Program Specialist to help build an activated Planetary Health movement. This individual will have primary responsibility for leading Next Generation (youth) programming. In addition, the Program Specialist will work with a small team on member engagement—including orienting and onboarding new members and communicating with and providing programming for members. Research Program Operations Specialist

The Johns Hopkins Institute for Planetary Health is seeking a Research Program Operations Specialist who will be responsible for administrative oversight and day-to-day coordination of research-related activities.

The Research Program Operations Specialist will work in close collaboration with Research Faculty Leads, JHIPH Executive Director, and other staff in both JHIPH and the Planetary Health Alliance (PHA) to manage ongoing, and help develop new, cross-University research working groups and other research efforts. The aim is to 1) strengthen coordination across existing Planetary Health-related research, 2) initiate innovative Planetary Health research to advance the field, and 3) closely collaborate with other program areas to help translate research into education, practice and policy. The Research Program Operations Specialist will manage the administrative, financial, program, and operational activities on a day-to-day basis to successfully support JHIPH’s vision and mission.

Director of Leadership Giving

The Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health is hiring a Director of Leadership Giving (DLG) for the Johns Hopkins Institute for Planetary Health (JHIPH), a University-wide initiative that brings together experts across disciplines to address the impacts of global environmental change on human health. The DLG will play a central role in shaping and executing the Institute’s fundraising strategy, focusing on cultivating individual donors and supporting leadership in securing foundation and corporate grants. As part of the Institute’s leadership team, the DLG will also collaborate to advance the mission of the Planetary Health Alliance.

The DLG will oversee annual, major, and principal gift efforts. This role requires the ability to work across departments and donor audiences, offering strategic guidance on philanthropic efforts while fostering a collaborative, equity-driven culture. The ideal candidate will bring proven experience in individual fundraising, comfort navigating complex academic institutions, and a team-oriented approach to achieving shared goals in support of Planetary Health. Located in Baltimore with a hybrid schedule at the School of Medicine.
