Climate Change Collaboration and Partnerships
Despite the well-documented health impacts of the climate crisis, health has long been sidelined in UN climate negotiations. COP30 offers a critical opportunity to elevate health considerations—especially for at-risk groups, including Indigenous and local communities—and ensure they are centered in climate decision-making.

At the Planetary Health Annual Meeting 2025, the Planetary Health Europe Regional Hub announced its transition to Barcelona. Starting in 2026, the European Secretariat will be hosted by the Barcelona Institute for Global Health (ISGlobal) and supported by a collaborative network spanning science, policy, health care, and education.
