Countdown on health and climate change in Africa: An international collaboration for locally led research and action. The Lancet.
Climate change is causing significant economic harm across developing African nations and threatening progress toward the SDGs. To guide health-protective policies and track progress, stronger data and scientific evidence are essential. In response, the Lancet Countdown is launching a new initiative to build regional capacity, strengthen networks, and mobilize transdisciplinary data and research on the climate–health nexus in Africa.
