Sarah is a third year PhD student in the Department of Nutritional Sciences in the Temerty Faculty of Medicine at the University of Toronto. Her graduate research investigates sustainable dietary patterns and cardiometabolic health outcomes. Her current PhD research measures and analyses the joint nutritional and environmental impacts of foods in the Canadian context using a life cycle assessment (LCA) approach. In conjunction with her graduate work, she has a keen interest in mobilizing research findings through science communication, health promotion, and advocating environmentally sustainable practices.
