Building Holistic Governance
The Governance Working Group is focused on building capacity and strategically addressing governance challenges amid geopolitical uncertainties. A recent highlight was their successful engagement at the Biodiversity COP16 in Colombia, where the Sunway Centre for Planetary Health hosted an official side event with diverse stakeholders, leading to impactful advocacy and the adoption of Digital Sequence Information (DSI) language aligned with Planetary Health principles. Moving forward, priorities include crafting unified messaging, in collaboration with the Communications Group, and enhancing understanding of diplomacy and governance in partnership with the Education Working Group.
