Yusuf A. Sucol
2023 PHCAYusuf Sucol is a veterinarian and an environmental science student from the Philippines. He works as a researcher for the UPLB Climate and Disaster Risks Studies Center and the School of Environmental Science and Management in the University of the Philippines Los Banos. He is a recipient of fellowships and trainings on Planetary Health, Eco Health and One Health under the Southeast Asian Regional Center for Graduate Study and Research in Agriculture (SEARCA), Southeast Asia One Health University Network (SEAOHUN), and the ASEAN - Australia One Health programs. He leads projects on vulnerability and risk assessments for adaptive capacity building and local development planning, Halal science and technology knowledge management and advocacy development, and One Health operationalization for livestock zoonoses and transboundary biosecurity in social-ecological systems in his country.
