Zion O Freeman
2023 PHCAZion Freeman is a first year medical student at the University of the West Indies, St. Augustine Campus in Trinidad. He is adamant in his efforts to increase awareness about environmental protection and conservation among his peers and family members. He believes in a multifaceted approach to the incorporation of sustainable health systems in his local public health sector through political reform. Zion hopes to continue sorting out opportunities towards environmental sustainability and change in his community. He aims to develop alternative solutions towards slash and burn practices in his community and hopes to reduce uncontrollable deforestation.
