We are honoured to welcome Dr. John Gittleman. Dean and Professor of Ecology, Emeritus at The University of Georgia, and Visiting Distinguished Professor of Biodiversity and Disease Ecology at Duke University. A globally recognised leader in ecology, conservation, and disease research, Dr. Gittleman has authored more than 190 scientific papers, with publications in Nature, Science, and PNAS. His work bridges biodiversity, health, economics, and planetary systems, making him one of the leading voices shaping the future of One Health thinking. This session is especially relevant for researchers, clinicians, veterinarians, public health professionals, environmental scientists, social scientits and anyone interested in planetary health and interdisciplinary collaboration.
