Istanbul Atlas University integrates Planetary Health principles into its education, research, and community engagement by addressing the links between human health, environmental change, and sustainable healthcare. The University has incorporated Planetary Health perspectives into curricula, interdisciplinary research, and international academic activities, including Planetary Health conferences organized in collaboration with the University of Minnesota. Through Planetary Health Alliance membership, Istanbul Atlas University aims to collaborate on joint research, education, and capacity-building initiatives and to contribute regional expertise to the global Planetary Health community.

One Health is a transversal principle at Sciensano, providing an integrated approach to balance and optimise the health of people, animals and the environment. The role of healthy ecosystems in One Health in terms of ‘prevention at source’, provides a strong link with Planetary Health.
Increasing societal and professional literacy on One Health facilitates uptake of preventive measures. As a member of the broad, cross-sectoral and transdisciplinary network of the Planetary Health Alliance, we build on and contribute to its expertise in ecosystem health and knowledge translation.

The Global Allergy and Airways Patient Platform (GAAPP) integrates Planetary Health into its work by addressing the environmental drivers of allergic and respiratory diseases, particularly air pollution and climate change. Through patient advocacy, awareness campaigns, and policy engagement, GAAPP elevates the connection between human health and the health of natural systems. As a member of the Planetary Health Alliance, GAAPP aims to collaborate with researchers, policymakers, and civil society to advance clean air and sustainable health policies. The Iraqi Cartoon House integrates Planetary Health into its work by using cartoon art and visual storytelling to raise public awareness about the interconnected challenges of environmental degradation, climate change, and human health. Through exhibitions, campaigns, and community-based artistic initiatives, the organization translates complex scientific and environmental concepts into accessible visual messages that engage diverse audiences. As a member of the Planetary Health Alliance, the Iraqi Cartoon House aims to collaborate with researchers, educators, and practitioners to co-create creative communication tools that support education, advocacy, and community engagement. The organization seeks to contribute artistic perspectives to global Planetary Health initiatives while strengthening cross-disciplinary collaboration between the arts, culture, and Planetary Health communities.

The Neuro Climate Working Group integrates Planetary Health principles by advancing transdisciplinary research, education, and policy translation at the intersection of environmental change, ecosystem health, and brain and mental health across the lifespan. We apply systems thinking and equity-centered approaches to understand how climate and environmental stressors affect cognitive, neurological, and mental resilience, particularly in climate-vulnerable communities. Through collaboration with the Planetary Health Alliance, we aim to co-develop shared educational resources, webinars, and policy-relevant outputs that elevate brain health as a core outcome of Planetary Health. We are committed to active knowledge exchange, partnership, and collective action that strengthen planetary systems while safeguarding brain health and mental well-being.

Trevesom Organization is a non-profit dedicated to advancing public health, community resilience, and environmental sustainability in Somalia and the East African region. We integrate Planetary Health principles into our work through programs in climate-smart agriculture, clean water and sanitation, renewable energy, and youth-led environmental and health initiatives. By joining the Planetary Health Alliance, we aim to collaborate with global and regional members to share knowledge, exchange best practices, and strengthen community-driven approaches to improve both human and ecosystem health. Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center El Paso integrates Planetary Health principles across education, research, and community engagement to strengthen the connection between environmental sustainability and human well-being. As a border institution, we are expanding our focus beyond community and global health to include the health of the environments that sustain the populations we serve. Earth-Riders is an independent, international, non-profit and non governmental association that brings together equestrians, the schools in their communities, public water protection agencies, and the sustainability organizations to promote refreshed and regenerative landscapes all around us. Our mission is to offer training and advocacy of the tradition of composting, and applying fresh soils to replace reliance on chemical and increasing flammable and thirsty vegetation, and restore the everyday actions that feed and nurture urban and suburban ecosystems. Our global presentations and educator resources integrate current research on food systems and environmental impacts, empowering students to make informed decisions that support both personal and planetary well-being. Co-Flourish is a social impact venture that empowers community-led nature-based solutions with transparent, Planetary Health–aligned impact measurement across climate, biodiversity, health, and equity. We apply this lens in all projects—for example, supporting community beekeeping for income and mental well-being in Tigray, Ethiopia, and co-developing youth-led integrated waste management and mangrove restoration in Zanzibar. As members of the Planetary Health Alliance, we will contribute open case studies, practical indicator toolkits, and training modules on theories of change, mixed-methods evaluation (including intangible impacts), and evidence translation for policy and finance. We seek active collaboration with PHA staff and members through regular knowledge exchange, matchmaking with locally rooted implementers and researchers, and co-creation of feasible, comparable metrics that strengthen financing pathways for high-integrity, health-positive nature projects worldwide.

Voces del Bosque advances Planetary Health by connecting people with nature through immersive sound walks, forest residencies, and creative projects. We study how these experiences support human wellbeing and ecosystem health, generating methods and insights that can inform broader practice. Jesus Joyous Christian Centre (JJCC) integrates Planetary Health into its faith-based mission by promoting the well-being of people and the planet through spiritual growth, community health initiatives, and environmental stewardship. Through programs such as climate-focused sermons, tree planting, and eco-health education, we inspire congregations to care for creation as an act of faith. As a member of the Planetary Health Alliance, JJCC seeks to collaborate with global partners to advance equitable, community-driven solutions that link faith, health, and sustainability. Eötvös Loránd University (ELTE), Hungary’s largest and oldest university, is committed to advancing knowledge through research, education, and international collaboration. As a partner in the CHARM-EU alliance, ELTE is co-developing a joint master’s programme in Planetary Health, embedding sustainability, ecological resilience, and global health into higher education curricula. Through interdisciplinary teaching, research, and community engagement, ELTE intends to integrate planetary health principles across its academic portfolio and fosters awareness at local and regional levels. EuroNet MRPH (European Network of Medical Residents in Public Health) is a non-profit, international, independent, and non-governmental association that brings together European National associations of Public Health training programs, including both medical and non-medical residents.
