We are dedicated to understanding and validating eco-anxiety and other environmentally related emotions for Africans through research, space-making, and community actions. As a member of the Planetary Health Alliance, we aim to collaborate with global partners to share insights, co-develop solutions, and support a collective effort to protect the health of people and the planet.

At PEL, we work at the intersection of food, climate, and health to promote the Planetary Health Diet—an evidence-based approach emphasizing plant-forward, sustainable nutrition. We collaborate with NGOs, healthcare professionals, and ministries of health in low- and middle-income countries to educate communities, prevent diet-related disease, and implement food-as-medicine programs. Our goal is to improve medical outcomes while reducing the environmental impact of current food systems. We look forward to collaborating with the Planetary Health Alliance to advance these shared goals and build a healthier, more sustainable future for all.

The Xheladin & Xhufe Morina Foundation (XHMF) and its Environmental Neuroscience Research Incubator (ENRI) advance planetary health by exploring how environmental stressors affect brain health, learning, and community well-being. We design and deliver science education programs, community monitoring projects, and data-driven tools that make the links between environmental conditions and mental health tangible for underserved communities. Through collaboration with the Planetary Health Alliance, we aim to share our community-engaged research models, learn from global peers, and contribute context-specific insights from the Balkans to the wider planetary health dialogue. Together, we hope to co-create scalable, youth-focused solutions that empower communities to build resilience and protect both human and planetary health.

Pesticide Action Australia is a registered charity established to support Australia’s transition towards nature-friendly, sustainable, and healthy alternatives to pesticides.
We take a collaborative and evidence-based approach to our work in this space. We connect advocates and experts engaged in pesticide reduction, from individuals, communities, farmers, scientists, health experts, industry stakeholders and academics, and seek to amplify their voices and scale collaborative action.
The impacts of pesticides on our health and environment are well documented. Pesticide use contributes to biodiversity loss, soil degradation, water contamination, pollinator decline, climate change acceleration and serious human health conditions.
We are committed to enhancing Planetary Health by pursuing meaningful change in pesticide policy and practice.

Vegan International plans to advance Planetary Health by participating in UN Conferences to network and educate participants regarding the detriments to humans, other species, nature and the planet of Speciesism. Currently Vegan International is promoting a United Nations Convention Against Speciesism which would follow the UN Conventions Against Genocide, Torture, Eliminate Discrimination Against Women, and Rights of the Child. This would give Rights to all Species, and Nature.

The Climate Action Accelerator is committed to advancing planetary health by integrating climate resilience and sustainability into healthcare systems. We collaborate with global partners to develop low-emission, adaptive solutions that address the health risks posed by climate change and other planetary boundaries. Through initiatives like the Future of Hospitals and Health Systems and local partnerships in Africa and South Asia, we co-create context-specific roadmaps and promote knowledge exchange to drive scalable, practical solutions. By joining the Planetary Health Alliance, we aim to strengthen transdisciplinary actions and operations that safeguards human health and the natural systems upon which it depends.

Norwegian Doctors for Planetary Health (Legenes klimaaksjon) is a network of engaged health care workers and students who believe a good environment is the ultimate key to good health. Our purpose is to inform about the health consequences of global warming and destruction of nature and biodiversity, and work to limit these through political, economic and structural measures. We do so by cooperating with other environmental groups and activists, engage in political processes and raising awareness among our peers and the public as whole. Our vision is a healthier and more just world.

Zero Water Day Partnership is a NGO registered in Germany and works with national, European and international partners to promote action in the 5 areas of critical importance for humanity and the planet. ZWDP areas of work cover will feed into PHA networks and activities, including policy and advocacy with a focus on planetary and human health in all polices and youth engagement, a whole schools – whole community approach for environmental and social determinants of health education, and action by creating water walks in support of the ZWDP Saving the World’s Water Towers campaign.

Youth in Public Health is a youth-led organization committed to advancing planetary health through education, innovation, and community empowerment in Indonesia. We integrate the principles of planetary health into our programs: Zero Stunting, GROW, Healthy Teens, and Research Group by addressing the intersections of human health, nutrition, and sustainable planetary health. We want to collaborate with Planetary Health principles to enhance our educational and professional development programs. This includes hosting workshops, webinars, seminars, hands on training and community forums that focus on the interconnectedness of human and environmental health, climate resilience, and sustainable development. By engaging students, professionals, and local leaders, we aim to foster a new generation of Planetary Health advocates equipped with interdisciplinary knowledge and practical tools.

FCCA and PHA are committed to integrating the clinician’s voice and planetary health into all our educational, advocacy, and community outreach efforts. Our collaboration will expand awareness and understanding of the health impacts of climate change, increase research opportunities, and improve dissemination of relevant findings, as we amplify advocacy for equitable climate and health solutions to drive meaningful action.

The Maryland Forestry Foundation pledges to collaborate with the Alliance to share and expand its programs to expand forest cover on private lands and provide learning experiences for high school studentsnts to consider careers in natural resources and urban forestry. Further, we will incorporate examples of the alliance’s work in our statewide monthly webinar series and, to the extent possible, draw on members as a resource for our education and outreach training for local volunteers. We already draw heavily on science to describe the ecological service benefits of forest cover for both landowners and citizens as incentivizes for good stewardship.

Burnet Institute is committed to advancing Planetary Health by integrating climate resilience and environmental sustainability into its global health research and programs. Our work in infectious disease surveillance, health security, and maternal and child health acknowledges the profound impact of climate change on health outcomes, particularly in the Pacific and Southeast Asia. Through collaboration with the Planetary Health Alliance, we aim to strengthen evidence-based, climate-informed health interventions, advocate for sustainable health policies, and contribute to One Health approaches that address the interconnectedness of human, animal, and environmental health. By engaging with PHA’s network, we seek to foster knowledge exchange, joint research, and policy innovation that supports climate-adaptive, resilient health systems worldwide.

The Renevlyn Development Initiative (RDI) expresses its desire to collaborate with the the Public Health Alliace and the host of like-minded stakeholders in its membership to promote planetary health globally.

RDI will advance the planetary health philosophy in our advocacy work, trainings, community level engagement and publications.

RDI will also be open to networking and partnerships opportunities with members of the Planetary Health Alliance to advance its mandate in the African region .

We are committed to incorporating Planetary Health principles and practices into our existing programs, such as our environmental conservation and public health initiatives. This will enable us to address the interconnectedness of human health and the environment.
And we will engage with our local community to raise awareness about Planetary Health and its importance.
