This collaboration aims to harness our collective expertise, resources, and networks to effectively address the complex interconnections between human health and environmental sustainability. Through initiatives such as the “Green Ambassadors Program,” we intend to engage local communities in advocating for sustainable practices that enhance public health and promote environmental stewardship.
In turn, we look forward to benefiting from the PHA’s extensive knowledge base, access to cutting-edge research, and opportunities for joint projects that will enhance our impact in Somalia and the broader Horn of Africa. Together, we aspire to contribute meaningfully to the global discourse on Planetary Health, fostering innovative solutions that tackle pressing challenges such as climate change, health disparities, and socio-economic development.

The Sankandi Youth Development Association (SYDA) is a registered charitable association in rural Gambia, it has grassroots project based in the Kiang West of The Gambia, in West Africa, and is focused on restoring the native mangrove forests and empower the rural communities. Our Mission is to help and enhance development of rural communities in Gambia while protecting the environment. Our Community Mangrove Conservation and Restoration Project involves planting mangrove propagules in degraded former mangrove forest in rural Gambia through community participations. We aim to collaborate with PHA to better make us in position to effectively contribute to protection of planet through planting and protecting trees through research.

The Satcher Health Leadership Institute (SHLI) is a leading transformational force for health equity in policy, leadership development, and research. SHLI enhances leadership among diverse learners, conducts forward-thinking research on the drivers of health inequities, and advances evidence-based policies; all in an effort to contribute to the achievement of health equity for all population groups. SHLI continues efforts in informing climate change, Planetary Health and environmental justice policy and advocacy through a health equity lens. We advocate for the fair treatment and meaningful involvement of all people regardless of race, color, national origin, or income with respect to the development, implementation, and enforcement of environmental laws, regulations, and policies.

The Savannah Chatham Sustainability Coalition will incorporate Planetary Health into our communication and community engagements via our collaboration with local government, businesses, creative community and organizations with environmental, social, health, and economic projects.

It has the mandate to elevate the role of science, technology and cities in foreign policy and make Barcelona a more influential player on the global stage by representing its knowledge and innovation ecosystem worldwide and its contribution to addressing the global challenges

We protect island habitats and assist local communities by offering villages a unique deal: if they agree to create a forest or marine reserve, we’ll provide funds for something the village needs, like a schoolhouse or health clinic. At Seacology, we believe that environmental issues are human issues, too. By providing a benefit – be it a health center, a school, or a water system – in exchange for the creation of a nature reserve, we ensure the reserve works in everyone’s interests.

PRB’s vision is a world in which decisionmakers improve the health and well-being of all people through evidence-based policies and practices. To further this vision, we inform people around the world about population, health, and the environment. We also empower people to use this information to advance the well-being of current and future generations.

One of our projects, Trusted Messengers for Sustainability, plans to use the confidence that citizens place in health professionals to transform them in ambassadors of change for the benefit of citizen’s personal health and of the planet’s colective health. We would like to partner with people and organizations that share this same view and/or have already experience in this domain. We pledge to cooperate with all PHA members and to share our knowledge and results in the field.

PODA has been working for the promotion and protection of human rights in rural areas of Pakistan since 2003. PODA’s vision is of a democratic society based on gender equity, economic justice, and human rights where all citizens can enjoy the “Right to Development.” PODA also works on awareness and implementation of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). PODA’s mission is to build a peaceful society by facilitating the empowerment of rural women, youth and marginalized groups through programs in education, sustainable livelihood skills, legal literacy and human rights advocacy.

Primate Conservation Alliance, founded and led by Colin Chapman, attempts to promote primate conservation globally. We focus on the union between human health and conservation, as providing health services and conservation education to local communities bordering parks is a win-win effort. We focus on Kibale National Park in Uganda and are expanding our efforts to China and Mexico.

The Prince Albert II of Monaco Foundation is dedicated to the protection of the environment and the promotion of sustainable development on a global scale. The Foundation supports initiatives of public and private organizations, in the fields of research and studies, technological innovation and socially-aware practices. The Foundation supports projects in three main geographical zones and focuses its efforts focus on three main areas.

Founded in 2014, Project Drawdown is a nonprofit organization that seeks to help the world reach “Drawdown” – the future point in time when levels of greenhouse gases in the atmosphere stop climbing and start to steadily decline. We are a leading resource for information and insight about climate solutions. We contribute to the Planetary Health community through sharing expertise and learning about how to move climate solutions forward as quickly safely, and equitably as possible.

The Public Health Foundation of India looks forward to advancing the research, capacity building and advocacy in environmental and planetary health.

Our mission is to identify and clean up the poorest communities throughout the developing world where high concentrations of toxins have devastating health effects. Pure Earth devises clean-up strategies, empowers local champions and secures support from national and international partnerships. Quantum Astrobiology Center – QAC, es una entidad privada sin ánimo de lucro con una iniciativa de Ciencia, Tecnología e Innovación (CTeI), conformada por un grupo interdisciplinar de profesores y científicos colombianos, pensando en el fortalecimiento de la economía del conocimiento y la transferencia tecnológica, cuyo fin es propender por el Origen, Reconocimiento y Desarrollo de la “Astrobiología Cuántica” como una nueva rama de la Astrobiología que estudia los fenómenos cuánticos al interior de los Sistemas Vivos y sus implicaciones en el Origen, Evolución, Distribución y Futuro de la Vida en la Tierra y el Universo. Así mismo, procuramos por que las Tecnologías Cuánticas y de Inteligencia Artificial – IA desarrolladas para Exploración Espacial y Astrobiología, sean susceptibles de transferencia de conocimiento y tecnología – TCT, de manera que estén disponibles para la solución de problemas propios del Sistema Tierra. Por lo tanto, estamos comprometidos con la Investigación, Educación, Divulgación y Extensión al asociarnos con aliados estratégicos que nos permiten fomentar el desarrollo de la Salud Planetaria como una de nuestras principales áreas de trabajo.

This body of members (PHA) deserves the right to collaborate for planetary fitness. We charge ahead to do so with them for the sake of spreading knowledge about how to quickly restore Earth to is former health by engaging with one another formally. That is, through sharing training that we develop to bring the various members and their communities into a space of internal collaboration in all possible locales worldwide. Such collaboration will result in planetary adoption of proven techniques with understandable training and its quality distribution to all who wish for a healed planet.

We are actively involved in formulating local, national, and international policy promoting Planetary Health. We are committed to the health of human civilization and the natural systems on which it depends. As leaders we prioritize the vitality of seven generations of future children.

Reproduction research is essential to drive innovations to improve the health of our planet. Our intention is to work collaboratively alongside like-minded researchers, policy makers, educators and communicators to drive innovations that support our environmental systems and wildlife, human populations and our food systems for a sustainable healthy planet. Raising awareness of the planetary health challenges and contributing to evidence-based solutions across scientific, government and public sectors is our aim, including improving planetary health literacy throughout the Australian community.

We Rochester Lifestyle Medicine Institute (RLMI) will collaborate with Planetary Health Alliance (PHA) to promote a global shift in personal nutrition to a whole food, plant-based (WFPB) lifestyle. A WFPB lifestyle will promote personal health and well-being and Planetary Health by reducing personal consumption of animal products. This movement to WFPB dietary lifestyles will reduce the deleterious impacts of the animal agriculture industry on Planetary Health. This will be a win for personal health and a win for Planetary Health all by shifting our diets to use Forks Over Knives when we eat. This is a simple, but powerful solution to improve Planetary Health that both RLMI and PHA can promote. Let’s do this together!

The PHE Ethiopia Consortium is committed to sustainable development in Ethiopia, and as a member of the Planetary Health Alliance, contributes to Planetary Health research and policy projects, strengthens the presence of Planetary Health in the media, and helps to expand regional and international involvement in the Planetary Health community.
