Korea University is dedicated to advancing Planetary Health by integrating sustainability, the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), and Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) principles into our research, education, and community engagement efforts. We focus on addressing medical waste management and broader environmental issues through interdisciplinary approaches chaired by Prof. Yong Sik Ok. Our collaboration with the Planetary Health Alliance enhances our ability to build global partnerships, share knowledge, and develop innovative solutions that contribute to a sustainable and healthier planet for all. Together, we work to create impactful changes in environmental and public health.

Kumamoto University aims to preserve and conserve natural resources, and innovate technologies and environment to foster the growth of healthy planet. Kumamoto University will contribute to the PHA network through identification and visualization, and development of natural resources, especially focusing on useful plants. The LBG Open Innovation in Science Center is committed to advance Planetary Health in Austria, by supporting transdisciplinary research with civil society involvement in Planetary Health. For this goal, we cooperate with Austrian research organizations, funding agencies and policy makers, to create support and training to make the Austrian research and health system oriented toward Planetary Health solutions. The LBG OIS Center also supports projects around the topics of health and sustainability.

The growing awareness of the health risks of the changes in the Earth’s natural systems calls for further research into the interdependencies of linked human and natural systems. The causal links between environmental change and human health are complex because they are often indirect, displaced in space and time, and dependent on a number of changing forces. Current research at UM integrates and models the development of climate change solutions with health risks and other challenges for local communities. UM also models and analyzes local ecosystem services in combination with health effects. We do this through integrated modelling, GIS approaches and big data analysis. Obtaining a thorough and integrated understanding of this complex and still undervalued nexus nature-human, and critically evaluating suitable solutions, will be necessary in the coming years, and will form the core of this research cluster at Maastricht University.

Madagascar Health and Environmental Research (MAHERY) is one of the members of the PHA who help to contribute data that span the intersection of the food security and nutritional impacts of ecosystem transformation in Madagascar. These data and frameworks for research application can be used by other PHA members and the results are useful for policy makers.

The Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health is committed to improving the health and lives of local and global communities. Increasingly, that means taking into account the human health implications of the global Earth crisis and contributing to our understanding of and response to Planetary Health challenges. We are committed to working with the PHA to develop new educational resources, advance research objectives, and explore new policy interventions to strengthen the global field of Planetary Health.

The InteraAmerican Center for Global Health (CISG) prepares leaders with the skills required to give ethical, sustainable, and just solutions to the global and local health challenges of today and tomorrow. Through our alliance with the Planetary Health Alliance, we hope to expand the understanding of health and unravel the complexity of Planetary Health bringing different sectors together into new impactful collaborations.

Interdisciplinary Global Mental Health Innovation (IGMHI) is a network of experienced practitioners, researchers, educators, and activists working across sectors and disciplines to maximize health and well-being in pursuit of durable and equitable social justice, planetary health, and social determinants of health. Utilizing interdisciplinary approaches across the global Humanitarian-Development-Peace Nexus, we effectively respond with communities impacted by adversity and trauma related to disasters, violence, conflict, and migration. We provide community-engaged, culturally responsive, trauma-informed services that are both adaptive to immediate implementation and foundational to future innovations. The foundations of innovation through IGMHI intentionally advance intersectoral and intergenerational connectedness from individual health and well-being through communities, including global ecosystems and planetary health.

Based in Dhaka, Bangladesh, we are committed to solving public health problems facing low- and middle-income countries through innovative scientific research – including laboratory-based, clinical, epidemiological and health systems research. By developing, testing and assessing the implementation of interventions specifically designed for resource-poor settings, we aim to improve the health and wellbeing of people living in the world’s poorest nations.

The International Federation of Medical Students’ Associations (IFMSA) is a non-partisan and not-forprofit organization recognized as one of the oldest and largest student-run organizations in the world. IFMSA was established in 1951 after the end of World War II to serve as a platform for unity, collaboration and peace among medical students. IFMSA currently has a broad representation of 133 member organizations from 123 countries across the world and works in close relation with several nongovernmental organizations globally. IFMSA has Health, Environment and Climate Change as a Global Priority, hosting activities and advocating on the subject. They are also leaders of the Climate-Health 2020 Vision aiming to include environmental health included in all medical curricula by 2020.

IPSF is committed to making positive steps to incorporate Planetary Health, climate action and the environmental theme within the Public Health sector.

The ITRC is committed to building population-level mental wellness and transformational resilience for the global climate emergency by engaging communities worldwide in using a public health approach to mental health. Because co-morbidity is very common, preventing and healing mental health and psychosocial problems in this way will also prevent and heal many physical health issues. We want to help organizations worldwide learn how to organize and facilitate Resilience Coordinating Networks to prevent and heal climate change-generated and other social, psychological, emotional, behavioral, and spiritual issues generated by the climate emergency.
