Moms Clean Air Force’s work is focused at the intersection of climate change, air pollution, and the health of children and communities, which falls clearly within the broader domain of Planetary Health. We see climate change as a critical public health issue and look forward to continuing to collaborate with others doing this important work.

The Monash Sustainable Development Institute (MSDI) at Monash University leads interdisciplinary research and education on the intersections between human and environmental health, with a focus on building collaborative and cross-sectoral partnerships to influence policy and practice. We are particularly focused on questions of Planetary Health in Asia-Pacific, and look forward to collaborating with PHA members to advance knowledge and impact in this space.

Mongabay will expand its coverage of Planetary Health issues through our global news reporting across multiple languages. Beyond our core audiences that visit our websites and social media channels, the reach of this content — including articles and video — will be amplified by syndication via third party media outlets. We’ll track the quantitative and qualitative impacts of this reporting to understand how journalism can contribute to on-the-ground change.

The Munich Science Communication Lab is dedicated to further the understanding of communicating Planetary Health. We are a part of the Planetary Health community, to make sure that we are looking into the right questions, and that our findings are implemented in the way the Planetary Health community communicates in the public.

We envision an equitable, regenerative and sustainable world where humans and nature function in balance and harmony for the health and flourishing of all. By fostering deep connection with nature, we inspire others and ourselves to imagine, adopt, and share new ways of living.

With roots in the holism of arts-and-culture approaches, K8 has from the beginning embedded questions of innovation in the broader context of a collaborative engagement with environmental, social, and economic transformation. We explore Planetary Health to facilitate the co-creation of viable socio-technological systems and work with others to imagine new forms of collective agency and intelligence.

In our own network or community, we plan to raise awareness about the importance of planetary health through educational campaigns and public outreach programs. By organizing seminars, workshops, and training sessions, we aim to educate individuals and organizations about sustainable practices that can protect the environment and human health.

We intend to actively participate in collaborative projects and initiatives Within the global Planetary Health Alliance community. We will contribute our expertise, research findings, and practical solutions to address planetary health challenges on a larger scale. Through knowledge-sharing and networking opportunities, we seek to foster cooperation among members, exchange best practices, and collectively advance Planetary Health.

Karolinska Institutet (KI) promotes Planetary Health both in education and research. Our university take active part in the work of the PHA Regional Hub Europe and have been part in the e-Planet project financed by the aim to equip health professionals with the knowledge and skills they need to promote and deliver sustainable health care and achieve attitude change. With an online serious digital game, we want to assist higher education institutions in addressing an unmet need and accelerate the implementation of Planetary Health in the medical curricula. KI will also co-chair monthly webinars on Planetary Health for the scientific community.

The Keele School of Medicine, working with our wider university are developing research programmes and curricula for health and students that are aiming to improve the awareness and knowledge of our staff, students and wider health and care partnerships. We are committed to working towards a more sustainable health and care system and are looking to collaborate globally with partners with expertise in this area as together we can make a bigger difference.

As a member of the Planetary Health Alliance, Khazar University contributes to Planetary Health through educating students and community, engaging students, scientists, professionals and governmental organizations to promote understanding of the importance of Planetary Health, and exchanging data and knowledge to recognize and improve human, animal, and ecosystem health issues in Azerbaijan and globally.

Korea University is dedicated to advancing Planetary Health by integrating sustainability, the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), and Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) principles into our research, education, and community engagement efforts. We focus on addressing medical waste management and broader environmental issues through interdisciplinary approaches chaired by Prof. Yong Sik Ok. Our collaboration with the Planetary Health Alliance enhances our ability to build global partnerships, share knowledge, and develop innovative solutions that contribute to a sustainable and healthier planet for all. Together, we work to create impactful changes in environmental and public health.

Kumamoto University aims to preserve and conserve natural resources, and innovate technologies and environment to foster the growth of healthy planet. Kumamoto University will contribute to the PHA network through identification and visualization, and development of natural resources, especially focusing on useful plants. We are very much looking forward to collaborating with PHA members.

At the UPC-LAB, we believe in a global approach to address planetary health. Our technology, operational worldwide, both monitors ocean and rainforest biodiversity and thus provides a unique insight of the global dynamic balance of Nature. Integrating this data in how human health is managed worldwide within the Planetary Health Alliance objectives is a true scientific challenge that cannot be addressed without a strong commitment and a multi-disciplinary approach.

As the responsibility of higher education (HE) is to support sustainability competence development for students, also Laurea University of Applied Sciences, Finland, educates future social and healthcare professionals with a strong understanding of the importance of inner and outer sustainability, emphasizing the transformative capacity of planetary health and planetary wellbeing promotion. With its educational and RDI activities, Laurea provides different co-operation and networking possibilities for HE and PHA members to make a difference for a better tomorrow that benefits and nurtures our shared planet and its people.

The LBG Open Innovation in Science Center is committed to advance Planetary Health in Austria, by supporting transdisciplinary research with civil society involvement in Planetary Health. For this goal, we cooperate with Austrian research organizations, funding agencies and policy makers, to create support and training to make the Austrian research and health system oriented toward Planetary Health solutions. The LBG OIS Center also supports projects around the topics of health and sustainability.

The LIU Department of Public Health seeks to provide cutting-edge, science-based solution to the ongoing convergent climate change and public health crises. The department includes training in Planetary Health in its CEPH-accredited curriculum, fosters participation in PHA meetings, seminars and workshops and, most of all, conducts innovative research in climate science and public health.
