The Global Health Institute (GHI) is a stand-alone unit at the University of Wisconsin-Madison dedicated to improving and inspiring collaboration, educating tomorrow’s leaders and promoting research and outreach to improve well-being for all.

GHRIC will collaborate with PHA in promotion and advocacy activities addressing climate change
GHRIC will contribute in the technical guidelines, reports and research papers as and when required
GHRIC will engage the PHA experts for some international workshops, trainings and events conducted bi-annually/ quarterly

The Boston College Global Observatory on Pollution and Health is a multidisciplinary collaboration that studies patterns of pollution and pollution-related disease in countries around the world and makes its findings available to researchers, policy makers, civil society, the media and the global public. Researchers in the Observatory analyze the burden of disease caused by pollution, quantify pollution’s economic costs and impacts on human capital, and examine pollution’s effects on the planetary environment.

GlobalPDX connects the Oregon-based global development community in an effort to magnify our collective impact on the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals. GlobalPDX is an enthusiastic member of the Planetary Health Alliance as our members serve families and communities in more than 100 countries through programs that contribute to the global Sustainable Development Goals to end all forms of poverty while protecting the planet.

In Goddard’s programs in Sustainability and in Health Arts and Sciences, students examine the relationship between human health and that of the environment and how to restore and nourish this relationship. As part of our individualized learning model, we encourage students to use Planetary Health Alliance educational resources.

Good Food Programme (GFP) is a non-profit learning organization that promotes human-animal-environmental wellbeing through research and evidence-based advocacy for the production and consumption of healthy, humane and eco-friendly alternatives to animal products.

Drawing on expertise from across the College and beyond, our work focuses on understanding the mechanisms that drive environmental change and how these, in turn, impact on human health. We apply this knowledge to manage health risks by devising local solutions to help communities adapt to change, but also promoting evidence-based policy development at a regional and national level.

Family Health and Development Foundation (FAHEDEF) will want to collaborate and Partner with Planetary Health Alliance in carrying out its Planetary Health Activities, and by so doing will appreciate support in multiform from PHA like training of its staff, visiting our field work (Farms and providing advice and institutional support). We want to create clubs in schools and in the communities to better implement and promote Planetary Health.

Fispmed Onlus intends to expand its network by joining the PHA community. Our objectives concern sustainable development and the fight against poverty in the Mediterranean-Black Sea countries; these include projects aimed at improving the environment, not only in its physical meaning but also at social and economic level through the implementation of concrete actions, and through the Observatory as our tool, on the various territories that can help local communities to pursue the objectives of the 2030 Agenda.

Our institution trains Environmental Health Practitioners for the South Pacific Region and we aim to train future EH leaders who are passionate about our planet and promote the sustainability and livelihood of our environment. We will encourage our students to join the Next Generation network including those practitioners in the field. As the educator in Environmental Health, we will support planetary health education. We will also promote Clinicians for Planetary health and as affiliates to planetary health hope to establish a planetary health hub in our university.

The Food Campus Berlin is dedicated to advancing planetary health by promoting sustainable food practices, fostering regional resilience, and integrating innovative technologies. We collaborate with local and global partners to drive research and development in sustainable food systems, and actively participate in international dialogues to share our insights and innovations. Through our membership in the Planetary Health Alliance, we aim to enhance our impact by engaging in collaborative projects, accessing educational resources, and participating in advocacy efforts to influence sustainable food policies. Together, we strive to create a healthier planet through transformative food solutions.

The Food for Humanity Initiative is part of Columbia University’s Climate School and is focused on the links between food systems and climate change. We acknowledge that food systems are vulnerable to and instigators of climate variability and change; however, we also promote the concept that food systems are a solution to climate change. The initiative frames its work through multiple lenses that collectively determine the health and sustainability of food systems, including nutrition and health equity; economics and policy incentives for healthy food systems; interaction of food systems with climate, agriculture and land use; community engagement for healthy diets; and food systems under climate-related shocks, conflict, and migration.

We aim to create a better and healthier society through addressing health, education, social and economic challenges. By collaborating with the Planetary Health Alliance and networking with other organizations, it would be a great opportunity to learn and share resources to contribute to health and well-being of a human and the nature.

The Forest Therapy Hub (FTHub) recognize its interest in Planetary Health developing closer cooperation with the Alliance and its members. This is rooted in FTHub’s mission to Mobilize and lead the interdisciplinary field of health and well-being practices based on nature and scientific evidence, promoting an interaction between people and nature that supports the restoration of their health and well-being.
