Wenqi Li is the Education Intern at the Planetary Health Alliance. With a multilingual background in language and area studies, she has experience working for campus organizations, research institutes and the private sectors, bringing an energetic and pragmatic view to Planetary Health Educational initiatives.
Born and raised in Shanghai, China, Wenqi has academic and professional interests focusing on sustainable development, in which global health governance, environmental change, and the intersection of development plays vital roles. She sees these issues as primary subject in addressing educational negligence and cultural violence. Her work with Organization for World Peace seeks a sustainable developing approach via analytical examination of global conflicts and current events. Most recently, she contributed to multimethod research on individual and collective wellbeing in the Russia-Ukraine conflict.
Wenqi received a bachelor’s degree in French and Francophone Studies from Shanghai International Studies University, with a minor in Diplomatic Relations. She is a master candidate of International Relations at Johns Hopkins SAIS. Outside of academia, she is working on her third fanfic novel.
