Dr. Given Moonga is an Epidemiologist specializing in Medical ResearchInternational Health. He earned his PhD in International Health-Medical Research from the Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität, Centre for International Health (CIH-LMU) in München, Germany. Dr. Moonga is a co-founder of the Planetary Health East African Hub. He has also served as a visiting lecturer at the Medizinische Fakultät der JuliusMaximilians-Universität Würzburg, where he lectures at the Planetary Health summer school for the past two years.
His research expertise spans nutrition and infectious disease epidemiology, focusing on spatial modeling of health outcomes.
