Her work focuses on generating awareness and mainstreaming insights at the intersection of human and environmental health across public, policy, and private sector audiences. She leads efforts to disseminate groundbreaking research and curate essential resources in collaboration with the global Planetary Health community.
Hannah’s career has focused on advancing climate and environmental health policy through strategic, data-driven communications. At USAID, she led global communications for the Agency’s climate adaptation portfolio, helping translate climate and health research—from malaria tracking systems to nature-based solutions—into accessible content for diverse audiences. She began her career as a Princeton in Africa Fellow working on HIV prevention in Botswana, and later spent four years based in Kenya, where she oversaw a global team driving policy action on clean air, chemical safety, and the clean energy transition.
She holds a Bachelor’s degree from Middlebury College, a Master’s in Global Affairs from Tsinghua University, and is currently pursuing a second Master’s in Public Policy at Georgetown University. In her personal time, Hannah enjoys spending time back in East Africa and running after her nieces and nephews.
