Itoro Inoyo is the Program Specialist at the Planetary Health Alliance. She leads the Next Generation Network and the Planetary Health Campus Ambassadors Program, elevating youth voices and leadership in the field of Planetary Health.
She brings more than a decade of experience managing global health programs and expanding access to care. At the United States Agency for International Development, she implemented strategies to advance gender equality, youth empowerment, and climate resilience within family planning and reproductive health programs across Africa and Asia. Before USAID, she helped launch a Gates Foundation funded child nutrition pilot and supported postpartum care, adolescent health, and cancer education programs at the Clinton Health Access Initiative in Nigeria. Her commitment to building solutions with and for communities inspires her ongoing strategic advisory work with mission-driven organizations and emerging innovators shaping the future of health and well-being.
Itoro works from the belief that care should honor the needs and experiences of every individual. This belief guided her decision to train as a birth doula, providing compassionate care to families during pregnancy and birth.
She holds a Master of Public Health from Drexel University and a Bachelor of Science in Biology from the University of Massachusetts.
