Jessica Kronstadt is the Program Director at the Planetary Health Alliance. In this role, she oversees the Planetary Health Alliance’s interconnected programs, ranging from community building and partnerships to education and mainstreaming Planetary Health to the global community. She leads PHA’s strategy and supports fundraising efforts and the coordination of the Steering Committee. She has more than 15 years of experience conducting research and evaluation and developing initiatives to strengthen public health infrastructure.
Prior to joining the Planetary Health Alliance, she spent over a decade at the Public Health Accreditation Board (PHAB), where she oversaw the revision of national standards for accreditation of state, Tribal, local, and territorial health departments. She also led PHAB’s research agenda related to accreditation and performance improvement, as well as several national evaluation efforts. She has previously worked at NORC at the University of Chicago and the Public Health Foundation.
She received her Masters of Public Policy from Georgetown University and her BA from Amherst College.
